The Nuvio Portal

The Nuvio Portal gives you the ability to manage your phone system from any web browser. The Portal is intuitive and simple. There is no need for extensive hands-on training, if you can surf the web, you can use the Nuvio Portal. The Portal not only allows end-users to manage call treatments the way they want, but also gives administrators and managers the ability to track user activity and make changes on-the-fly.

What is NuvioFlex?

NuvioFlex is a virtual PBX designed for organizations with between 10 and 25 phone stations. Each NuvioFlex pack comes with lines, extensions, unlimited local and long distance calling plans, a toll-free number, the option to port your existing phone numbers, an easy-to-use web interface and Nuvio's award-winning features.

What phones can I use?

NuvioFlex supports Nuvio, Polycom, Cisco and Aastra IP phones*. We sell the full range of Nuvio and Polycom IP phones as well as conferencing equipment; our sales department would be more than happy to make a recommendation.

What equipment do I need?

You will need a router, switch and phones. That's it. Nuvio sells a range of Linksys routers and our sales department would be more than happy to make a recommendation.

Can I port my existing numbers?

Yes, if your number is capable of being ported (check with our sales department to find out), you can bring your existing phone numbers with you. The porting process takes between 15 and 20 days and we'll provide temporary numbers in the meantime to get you up and running.

Can I add lines or extensions?

After 6 months of service you are eligible to downgrade your service by up to 25% without penalty. Also, if you have added any lines or extensions to NuvioFlex, you can remove them at anytime without penalty.

Are there contracts or special terms?

Nuvio offers one-year two-year and three-year contracts for NuvioFlex service. With a two-year contract all NRC (non-recurring charges are waived). With the three-year contract NRC charges are waived and the phones are free. You can also add lines or extensions at any time and remove the added lines at anytime without incurring any penalties or fees.

Are all businesses eligible for NuvioFlex?

Since there are a small minority of businesses that exploit the unlimited calling packages, we ask that you submit a recent phone bill for your business while signing up for NuvioFlex. Though we would rather not have to take this measure, it ensures that legitimate businesses are extended the best possible price on our services.

What happens when line capacity is maxed?

When all of your extensions are in use and a call comes in, the caller will hear a fast busy signal, just like a legacy PBX system.
