Noah K. Wood has been a Director and Secretary of Nuvio since December 2003.
Since 2000, Mr. Wood has been a partner in the law firm of Wood & Associates, LLP, where his practice concentrated on civil litigation and advising both established and startup technology companies. In 1994, Wood founded Woodtech Information Systems, Inc., one of the first Internet, web, and network service providers in the mid-west. In 1996, Mr. Wood sold portions of Woodtech and returned to school.
Mr. Wood received his Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law in 2000 where he was a member of the National Mock Trial Team, a James R. Drury Memorial Scholar, and recipient of the Claude Williams Advocacy Award. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. There he was a University Merit Scholar and participated in research in the areas of wireless data and telecommunications networking.
Mr. Wood was previously our Chief Technical Officer and co-founder from December 2003 until December of 2005 whereupon he resumed the private practice of law. |
Jeff Stern - Director

Jeff Stern has been a Director of Nuvio since 2004. Jeff co-founded GoBeam in early 2000. GoBeam quickly became the North American market share leader in IP Centrex services for business. During the worst period in Telecom history, GoBeam had a sufficiently robust business model to create a return for investors.
Jeff brings over 20 years experience in areas of sales, marketing, business development and engineering, in the communications and software industries. He served as a member of GoBeam's board of directors from the company's inception through its sale to Covad Communications. During that period, Jeff also served as Executive Vice President of GoBeam.
Immediately prior to the formation of GoBeam, Jeff served as Vice President of Investment Strategy at Pulsar Ventures where he focused on the identification and assessment of Pulsar Venture's investments in e-commerce, software development and telemarketing. Previous to Pulsar, Jeff held the position of Vice President of Marketing at Encanto Networks, a provider of e-commerce appliances for business. Jeff joined Encanto Networks from VeriFone, where he started and led the Client-Server Application software business unit. Under Jeff's leadership, the application software business initiated strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as Oracle and HP. VeriFone, was ultimately acquired by HP.
Jeff has B.A.Sc (First Class Honours) in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo (Waterloo, Ontario, Canada). |
